Glad that he's doing so well now!!!

We had the same kind of experience with taking out of school and doing a home virtual school. It changed our sons and our lives!!!!

My name is Carolyn my sons named is he is 8 years old with Aspergers. He had a very rough 4 years in our school system.We went through horrible IEPs, PPTs confinement rooms, holds, destroyed rooms, self confidience destroyed, hospitalization, anxiety, phobias, and kicked out of 2 schools. so last school year i took him out and started homeschooling. He has been doing so well with his (what we call) "freak outs" his confidience has sky rocketed has made a mutliple amount of friends and love to work with my husband and awesome with his brothers. I stuck to my guns and did what was right for my son. I thank god for these groups because if was one of theses groups that helped my with me decision. So thank you everyone.....

Glad your son is doing so well! I am so happy to hear his self confidence is back too! We have had major self confidence loss this past school year with our DD - it's scary to see your child change like that! I am so so happy for you and him that he was able to recover from the damage of a bad school placement!!
