zeolite, Natural Cellular Defense (NCD) and heavy metal chelation

As a desperate mother, I also wonder if there had been any commentary

or data-driven opinions on a hotly discussed " miracle " chelation

cure, Natural Cellular Defense – a form of zeolite.

The company claims that this (patented) form of zeolite tightly binds

heavy metals in its specially charged lattice, without having an

affinity for " good " minerals. I am unable to find any outside

" technical " assessment of this item, only rebuttals to general

skeptics, by the providers' designated champions (doctors).

I would very much be interest in a chemist's assessment of the

efficacy of this item to bind mercury. I can not find any claims of

whether it crosses the blood brain barrier.
