Hey !

Just a quick question and thanks for all of your help and inspiration.  While I

am still waiting on my Engaging Autism book, I wanted to check to see if I have

the right idea on things.

This morning Garrett came over to me with a big smile and I could tell he wanted

to socialize.  So, I threw a towel over his head and said " Where's Garrett "   He

pulled it off and I said " Peek a Boo "   He smiled really big.  Then I put the

towel over my head and said " Where's Mommy " .  He pulled it off my head and I

said " Peek a boo "   We had several back and forths of this until he ran off with

the towel in his hand.  Is that along the lines of the beginning of floor play

session.  I read that Stanley Greenspan encourages several 20 minute sessions

per day.  Is that where you do the exact thing back and forth like peek a boo

for 20 minutes or just work to keep the child engaged in whatever exchanges he

will enjoy and participate in for 20 minutes?

Thanks for your help!
