Guest guest
Id like to get a little input from you guys that have either used ACE or are currently supplementing. Could you please share the dose you ended up / started with and a bit of your experience so far. Based on most of the suggestions we ended up ordering Organic Adrenal Cortex -- 100 Caps 250 Mg from NutriCology. From past discussions it seems as if my son may benefit from this as he shows signs of adrenal fatigue. On the other hand based on a few posts as far as what to look for in hair tests (see below) want to know if this is correct? Than his last 2 hairs tests DOES NOT indicate that, in fact last 2 tests and after #90 rounds he no longer meets the counting Alltho again he has always had some soft sights of over worked adrenals. Are their other patterns to look at in hair tests? And last Question how can I tell if ACE is working? Thanks for any info As always my best Kenny v >>>Usually cal/mag go in one direction and pot/sodium go in the opposite direction. The farther apart the outermost lines are from one another, the more stressed the adrenals.
Guest guest
1/4 cap once a day in the morning. Watch for progress, such as better moods, calmer, better sleep etc. If he dose well on that dose, you can leave it. My 5 year old (43 pds) had been on that same dose for a year and it is still working fine. We never needed to increase it. If you notice after a while that those wonderful improvements are gone, you can add another 1/4 cap around lunch or early afternoon. The idea is gradually adding if needed. I would not advise giving it later than 3 or 4 pm as we notices the kids had a harder time falling asleep. Myself and my older child..we had to begin at one cap in the am and gradually add a second cap at lunchtime. > > What is the starting dose for a five year old , 40 lb. child? > > TIA > >
