Fwd: City gets permission to spray Anvil ovre wetlands ---Law Project needs help to repsond/act

Alert! The NYSDEC has granted a

permit to the NYC Dept. of Health to spray Anvil 10+ 10 over wetlands.

The permit was granted on Friday, August 28, 2001 – the same day as the

deadline for receiving comments.(The law project was granted an extension

to send it later, albeit after the decision was made). We need

copies of your comments that you had sent protesting the permit

issuance. We are deciding whether a law suit is in order to stop

this most potentially destructive spraying procedure. The DEC has set

some restrictions but details are not available at this time.
