Guest guest
My 2yo had issues at birth that put him on antibiotics. Within 4m, he started developing eczema. I was nursing him so me going off dairy, soy, & corn helped a bit. Then going off potatoes cleared up his body. His face was still flaming & he stopped gaining weight at 6m. He couldn't eat solids as he wasn't interested but when he tried he gagged on everything (not chunky stuff either). He had 2 respitory bouts at 8m old; the second landed him in the hospital & he had another round of antibiotics. Got him to a natural dr on some vits & he got stronger. CLO helped heal his skin as well. By 1 year his skin was clear but he was underweight. Last Fall we went on SCD & he started eating well & gained a bit. Early this year I weaned him due to another preg. with twins & he started gaining a lot, even though he really wasn't eating much more. He's now 30lbs at 2yrs old. However, he still cannot tolerate any of those foods, & a test came back that he was intolerant to everything he's presently eating as well. He gets periodic rashes here & there, they come & go. His face gets red at times then clears up. His diet never changes. All detergents etc are " free " , natural etc. He tested positive for yeast overgrowth. On Diflucan he ended up with respitory bout again; first one in 1- 1/2yrs. I'm switching to good probiotic & possibly Threelac & /or GSE; haven't tried yet though. He is speech delayed & on the spectrum. My 13yo severe son gets Houston's No Fenol & Zyme at meals. I've tried Pep & AFP Pep, even in very low dosages & he could never tolerate them. With 2yo issues I decided to give it a try again for him too. Neither of them could tolerate it at all. My 2yo felt sick on them so I stopped. That was months ago. Presently with just a probiotic he's lethargic & laying around a lot. Tried Candex last week & it also brought on a bit of respitory issue & constipation. I'm not sure what to do next for him & if enzymes would help or not anymore. Thanks, Michele

Yeast overgrowth can cause this. Does he tolerate enzymes? You can also try apple cider vinegar. I have a friend whose child was intolerant [severe intolerances, epi-pen, hospitalization, etc] and now can eat many of those foods with the medication Pentasa. > He gets periodic rashes here & there, they come & go.
