adrenal support

My son does have elevated levels of testosterone (per a test done a

year ago). His level was 17 ng/dL, and the normal range had a limit

of 10 ng/dL. My girls weren't tested. However, my oldest daughter

fondles her clitoris more than I care to admit. So these are the

signs that they are in need of adrenal support?

If I were to begin using the Adrenal Cortex Extract by Allergy

Research, do you have any recommendations for introducing this. My

children's weights are as follows: 43 lb., 40 lb., 25 lb.

Your help is appreciated.

What types of things

would indicate that a child needs adrenal support?

Whoa, this got confused, I gave you the signs for adrenal cortex, Abid gave you

the signs for high testosterone, two very different things.

The allergy research cortex extract is just 50 mgs, right? If so start with one.

We give Nutricology, 250 mgs and use just one along with lots of C and

pantothenic acid and pantethine in her multi, 3 times a day.

I know this post has been answered already, but I'd like to add my

experience. My son's hair test showed adrenal fatigue, but I'm afraid

that he was suffering from it long before the hair test gave me the

information.

I would encourage anyone whose child has any sort of unhappiness you

would consider out of the ordinary for an NT kid (meltdowns, difficult

transitioning, even to preferred activities, quick switches from

happiness to tears) to consider supporting the adrenals and see if it

helps. I restarted my son on ACE a few weeks ago and he is a much

happier child. I feel terrible that I took away his ACE for a few

weeks (I stopped all supplements to deal with seizures) because the

effect on him was obviously very bad.

Please re-read post # 189034 from Nell for some great insight into

adrenal distress and how it might feel for our kids, especially those

who cannot speak.
