Guest guest
Good morning to all, I want to share my dandelion sandwich recipe with you: Ingredients: - One bunch of Dandelion (I buy mine from Whole Foods) - Two cloves of garlic - 2 table spoons sesame tahini - 1 table spoon olive oil - Salt and pepper to taste - Fresh Lemon juice to taste - One or two slices of good quality whole grain bread (or gluten free bread or any that you lite). Wash and drain the dandelion leaves, then finely chop in a food processor. Put in a pot on medium heat and steam them until they wilt (it takes a very short time, stirring constantly). Please don't add any water. Transfer into a bowl. Add all the other ingredients and put on a piece of bread and enjoy (it's better eaten warm). Danelions are bitter but the lemon juice will balance that. This is my mother's recipe. We ate lots of dandelions as children. Now, I ate it once a week. As far as little kids, you can add chopped dandelions into their muffin recipe. I wish you all a very nice weekend. I am so thankful for your help and for all that I learn from you.
