Guest guest
>difference between sweet almond oil & regular almond oil??? They're the same thing. All almond oil is sweet almond oil, a carrier oil with no scent. Bitter almond essential oil is a volatile oil containing benzaldehyde and prussic acid and usually the rectified oil or synthetic benzaldehyde is used for fragrance and flavoring. If you've got a carrier oil called " almond oil " it is sweet almond oil. Warmly, Sherri Oshun Spirit Arts Ltd. Mission, BC Canada http://oshun.bc.ca mailto:sherri@... Guest guest
Our ped is recommending Ayurvedic Medicine Colonic detoxification for our son with severe consitpation and delayed BM potty training. She suggested Almond Oil with a dash of sugar She is not fully educated on it, but I am refusing to try Miralax. He is already on high dosages of magnesium, etc... She feels, as do I, we need to flush out his system fully; an extra showed extensive stool in him. We are having great success with chiro adjustment too, but we just need to flush him out. Has anyone tried Almond Oil? What amt did you give? She suggested giving 1t to start. I am going to whole foods tomorrow to get it, and plan to start it tomorrow night. Guest guest
Please let me know how the almond oil works. Our son occaisionaly needs the flush also. In the past we have used " magnesium citrate " liquid form(gastro recommended, comes in 10oz bottle), works great. The only problem is the last couple of times we tried, he threw it up(he gets so upset/and then throws up), it is nasty tasting. Befor that he never did and it did the job! Also on rare occaision, Vitamin C in a higher dose has helped also! We dont use C daily due to when we do use it is in a high dose! Recently we tried the citrate(threw up) gave it a couple of days and gave him " aloe vera juice " and he is moving. It just doesnt seem to do the cleanout, Im sure it would with high amount but to leary of doing that!
