Lauricidin (lauric acid is one of the anti-microbials that Dr McCandless recommends in treating autistic children's many types of infections. Check the FILES section of Autism_LDN for more details. It is important to clear up infections so that LDN can do its job better. Dr Jabara, lauridicin's inventor (for lack of a better word), has a website.

We've been including coconut oil in our diet for over five years. I've been using coconut oil on my skin and hair since teenhood, as directed by my doc.

Believe it or not I changed my deodorant to organic coconut oil. I read it was just as good as those used in the store and much better for you. It surprised me how well it works. I have been using it now for over a year. There are a lot of books out about how good coconut oil is for you and I also use it in cooking and as a substitute for butter. Not everyone likes the taste but I do. I first read about LDN from a post by Sammiejo, it is as follows:
