Guest guest
A main after affect of most seizures is very fatigued. You can also test her yourself by doing finger tracking in front of her eyes! They typically wouldnt be able to follow your finger movements side to side very well. The crying outbursts would most likely be an affect after the seizure but can happen during! I sure hope your daughter isnt having them! My son had for 5yrs, complex seizures(every form there is from petit to grands, left or right sided etc.) and the dilated eyes was with them all! Now gi distress can also cause seizures and gi distress can also cause the dilated eyes. Pain can cause it(dilation), sugar, stimulant foods/drinks etc. I hope that you find that it is not seizures and your daughter feels better!! And if they think they are and not regular grand mals, please consider other means of treatment verses the meds! Most the time they have to go through many different types of meds to find most dont work anyways! The natural worked for our son!! The other day I also noticed her eyes were dilated while this was occuring, we are now suspecting seizures. What type of seizures does your child have when the eyes are dilated?? This is new to us so I am trying to research. EEG is scheduled for Tuesday. TIA Kris
Guest guest
I've heard a few explanations for dialated pupils, the one I remember off hand is an opiate reaction. Milk/Gluten/Soy in your daughter's diet?
