Guest guest
You can expect a " die off " reaction which includes the behaviors your seeing. You may wish to use a lower dose and very slowly work up to 60mg a day over a few days. This reduces that reaction. If it's too late..you have to ride it out, once the yeast has gone down you should see his behavior improve. -- In , " Angie Ilie " <railie@...> wrote: > > Hi there, I have not posted for a long time. Guest guest
Activated charcoal will be your best friend now. Angie Ilie wrote: > > Hi there, I have not posted for a long time. Guest guest
It is already the 4th day. How long does it usually take? The doc said mild to moderate yeast (whatever that means). I just want it to be over! Angie > > > > Hi there, I have not posted for a long time. We have just started > > biomedical treatments with Dr Bock, and I was wondering about yeast. Guest guest
I know, but my son is a lunatic to get meds in him. I already have an extremely difficult time just with this one med and his many supplements. I have heard activated charcoal is horrible. There is no way to get it in him. We have seriously tried everything that we have been told. When the med/suppl is terrible tasting, it is impossible. I guess I just have to deal. Guest guest
some myriad thoughts...Often, when my girl is picking & poking at people/pets, upping her epsom salt baths helps (quite often, I will also realize we have been " sliding " on them)...extra vit E & zinc does seem to help with the these kind of behaviors...I also look at the general flow of the house - big daily schedule changes, do we again have too many toys available, etc...even if these things aren't the cause, " simplifying her life " in general seems to help immensely...these general ideas work for my big kids too yeast is rather ongoing around here, and I am thinking will pretty much remain so, until we get chelation going & close to done...in the meantime, we use yogurt & avoid sugary foods, etc. (which means, I have no idea how any supps would figure in for yeast - so far, she seems allergic to most probiotics out there. At this point, we just avoid them.) oh! forgot, sourdough bread...started making sourdough this past year & it does help my older girl with her yeast issues...huge (huge) differences, when there is sourdough in the house, or not...big sigh - haven't come up with a version that my 4yo likes...Yet...lol wishing you the best answers elizabeth ---- I know, but my son is a lunatic to get meds in him. Guest guest
Thank you, I will try to make sure he always gets his zinc and vit E. I appreciate your response.Angie > > some myriad thoughts...Often, when my girl is picking & poking at > people/pets, upping her epsom salt baths helps (quite often, I will > also realize we have been " sliding " on them)...extra vit E & zinc does > seem to help with the these kind of behaviors...I also look at the > general flow of the house - big daily schedule changes, do we again > have too many toys available, etc...even if these things aren't the > cause, " simplifying her life " in general seems to help > immensely...these general ideas work for my big kids too > > yeast is rather ongoing around here, and I am thinking will pretty much > remain so, until we get chelation going & close to done...in the > meantime, we use yogurt & avoid sugary foods, etc. (which means, I have > no idea how any supps would figure in for yeast - so far, she seems > allergic to most probiotics out there. Guest guest
We've been using GSE at 2-3 drops daily and Biotin which we've worked up to 5 mg, but still not seeing any reduction in yeasty behaviors after several months of usage. She also takes a probiotic I get from the health food store. Wondering what Three Lac is exactly, and whether or not I should try that. If so, does that replace something, or should it be taken in addition to current protocol. Or...should I up the treatments amounts? We do plan to start ALA in June so I want to try and squelch some of this yeast junk first. Thanks, Christi *Sydney's mommy

My son needed more than this, when I was doing protocols that tended to increase yeast. Dana
Guest guest
Hi Christi Have you considered taking Enymedica's Candidase? I can send you samples of it if you are interested. Feel free to look up information on Candidase on Enzymedica.com or just ask me any questions you might have. Guest guest
We have used ThreeLac for almost two months now. I think it's a pretty effective yeast treatment. It worked really well for my older daughter but we kept up the Biotin as well (3000mcg) for my younger daughter since she's in the middle of DMSA chelation. With the chelation, eating certain kinds of food seems to stir up the delicate " yeast balance. " It's very annoying. Just my two cents.
