Guest guest
We have been dealing with yeast issues with my son for quite a while and have recently observed behaviors that I believe to be due to overgrowth of bad bacteria in his gut. His OAT markers also indicated high bad bacteria. We have been on culturelle for several months with good success, (3/d at night)but his bacterial issues seem to have been stirred up by recent high doses of Vitamin C to try and deal with viruses. Is there something besides Culturelle that would work well for the bad bacteria? I give the Culturelle at night and he is fine throughout the day until about 3:30 when the aggressive/mean behavior seems to rear it's ugly head. I have not been able to tie the behavior in to any specific food or supplement. Would it work better to give the Culturelle in 2 parts, one in the am and one in the pm. When I have increased the Culturelle dose it tends to trigger yeast die off and I am trying to do one thing at a time, so anything that might target just the bacteria and not the yeast might be good. He just started Kindegarted so I would like to do this with as few side effects/behavioral effects as possible. Thanks for the help! Guest guest
Oil of oregeno.... you can do a search on line but look for the alcohol free liquid version. You do not need much of it, but I put it in orange juice a few drops.Syringe it in fast.Followed by a chaser! LOL! We have gotten rid of lots of things here with that ear infections, tonsilits and more. Alittle nasty, but works really well for gut bacteria. I have heard of others putting it in a teaspoon or so of spagetti sauce, but if you have to give it a few times per day, that would be gross too. HTH. Oil of oregano can work for both yeast and bad bacteria. Guest guest
Hi I have had great success with p73 oil of oregeno, I sandwich it in the middle of my sons oils, I put a little eye q oil on the spoon then 4 drops of OoO and then put rest of eye q oil on top of it, this seems to go down best, he doesnt seem to taste it sooooo much! Guest guest
Thank you for all of the replies! My son does not swallow capsules, so I have not been able to get any OLE in him (he hates the taste in his juice). Has anyone ever tried purchasing Olive Leaf Extract oil and applying it transdermally? Anyone have an opinion on whether or not this will work? Thanks! > > > > Can OLE also be used for viruses? > > > I used it to eliminate strep bacteria, and several viruses. Guest guest
We are dealing with a very similar issue. Bad bacteria is very high and we have been doing 3 Culturelle before bed for 4 months. I am so glad I checked this board and found your post, I am going to look into Oil of Oregano and OLE. Has anyone here tried LDM100? I have heard it can be very effective for several issues, yeast, bacteria, viruses, etc. but also very strong - I would love to hear some personal experiences with it.
