Guest guest
Hello Dana, My boys are on NCD and doing quite well, but a friend told me that I will need to use ALA to get rid of the mercury from the brain. Would you be able to tell me what dosage to use on a 7 and 8 years old. Would appreciate your help . Regards Olga
Guest guest
Another question Dana, Your website says to have bloodwork done while undergoing the chelation process - did you actually do this? If so, what needs to be tested and how often? Was the bloodwork for the DMSA? I think I recall you recommeneded DMSA before the ALA, correct? Yes, ALA removes mercury from the brain. I chelated all four of my kids with ALA. > Would you be able to tell me what dosage to use on a 7 and 8 years old. I gave ALA 3x per day, 3 days on and 4 days off. Some kids don't do well with this protocol and need ALA every 3-4 hours, including during the night. I started my kids with 25mg per dose. No, I used ALA, which does not stress the organs like other chelators do. >> If so, what needs to be > tested and how often? Depends on which chelator you are using. > Was the bloodwork for the DMSA? It does work better for lead than ALA does. DMSA would require bloodwork, in my opinion, to test for proper liver and kidney functioning. It does stress the liver and kidneys. Guest guest
Hello, I'm confused about this post... What does " nebulize " mean. Is the dose one time a day? Is the ALA injected rather than taken orally? Would you share what site you found this on? Guest guest
This poster did report that the Ala which was nebulized did cause yeast, eventually. The method of delivery doesn't matter, if Ala causes yeast for you, it will no matter what method you use. Re: ALA Chelation Hello, I'm confused about this post... What does " nebulize " mean. Guest guest
Doing that protocol is dangerous. Everytime you give a daily dose of ALA there is redistribution of metals and you dont know where they will redistribute. I recommend strongly looking at Andy Cutlers safe protocol for ALA chelation. I dont think a daily dose of ALA is good at all. Research. The group autism treatment had tons of info on it Re: ALA Chelation Hello, I'm confused about this post... What does " nebulize " mean. Guest guest
According to my understanding to this post, the kid seems to have much less yeast issue with spray than with oral form ALA. This kid is doing once per day, but DAN doctor suggested three times per day. I asked the question in ChelationKids2 group. If you want to read the whole chain of messages, you can search " DMSA + ALA " in their database. I personally think different form does matter. Oral DMSA causes more yeast than DMSA suppository to my son. I can't tell whether other kids have the same experience or not. Each kid is unique. Parents know the best. Guest guest
I agree. Andy suggests to give ALA every 3 hrs at day time, and every 4 hrs at night time if giving with DMSA. Here is the web site of Andy's comments. http://home.earthlink.net/~moriam/Andy_dose_sched.html Connie Re: ALA Chelation Hello, I'm confused about this post... What does " nebulize " mean.
