Guest guest
kind of an odd question. I bumped into a chair and have a huge bruise on my leg. Of course, I have a Christmas party coming up that I spent $90.00 on a dress for- does anyone have a quick way to lose the blue color on my leg?? Thanks. Guest guest
Yep. Pineapple juice. Drink lots of it and it will pull the pooled blood (which is the bruise you see) back into your body. A plastic surgeon taught me this trick and it really works. Christmas already? OT- bruising kind of an odd question. I bumped into a chair and have a huge bruise on my leg. Guest guest
if pineapple juice breaks down the blood, wouldn't papaine enzyme do the same thing? Very interesting by the way!

Guest guest
Hmmm...it would seem so. And much easier than drinking gallons of juice! Guest guest
Ya, it's for my husband's work- they always have it early. Thanks so much for the tips- any more is much appreciated. Has anyone ever heard of putting on chocolate- or coco, I think it has something to do with the caffeine in it??? Amber. On 10/12/07, Sissy Estep <sestep@...> wrote: > > Hmmm...it would seem so. Guest guest
Hi, Our daughter is sensitive to pineapple. Is there an alternative when she has a bruise? Also, she seems to bruise more easily than others (not size but frequency). What might this be an indication of? Thanks. Sissy Estep <sestep@...> wrote: Hmmm...it would seem so. Guest guest
I agree. Definitely Arnica gel. It's fantastic and has no odor. It works fast. My ASD toddler is " wobbly " on his feet. Always bumping into things. I always have a tube handy for his black and blues. > > ARNICA GEL....great stuff! specifically made for this kind of thing. > > > > kind of an odd question. > > I bumped into a chair and have a huge bruise on my leg. Guest guest
Thanks, again, everyone. I picked up a tube of Arnica gel at my HFS today, and it came with some little pills that you are supposed to swallow. I put on some cream, but haven't taken the pills- does anyone know anything about them? Amber. On 10/13/07, Kelley <saintclairity@...> wrote: > > I agree. Definitely Arnica gel. Guest guest
No idea. I've never seen it with pills. Let me know. > > > > > > ARNICA GEL....great stuff! specifically made for this kind of thing. > > > > > > > > > > kind of an odd question. > > > > I bumped into a chair and have a huge bruise on my leg. Guest guest
Amber, Arnica is a homeopathic remedy. The pellets are probably just arnica to take in addition to the gel. It will help you heal much faster. Let them dissolve under your tongue or dissolve them in water and drink. On Oct 13, 2007, at 6:29 PM, Kelley wrote: > No idea. I've never seen it with pills. Guest guest
Here are 2 quick fixers I’ve always found to work. Soak the bruised area with witchhazel and it’s supposed to reduce the bruising. A new one I just started this weekend as I took a bad fall on Friday, falling over one of my little student’s feet…Arnica gel from Boiron. It comes with homeopathic medicine which melts under your tongue and a gel to apply topically to the bruised area. My palm area had the makings of a really bad black and blue bruise and this stuff worked amazingly to keep the bruise from spreading. I can just about see what’s left of the bruise area. It is also great for muscle aches, stiffness, trauma as well as bruises. _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of kennetheriklucy Sent: Friday, October 12, 2007 3:16 PM Subject: OT- bruising kind of an odd question. Bromelain is pineapple. Yes, bromelain does work well for this. Dana
