I want to start ALA for my grown size teen girl. (Aspergers and OCD-

perseveration)

What time of day is best, in what dosage and how often, with or without

what other supplements for ALA? Is there any downside-side effects to

her taking ALA?

My daughter's regime:

I currently give her in the morning, along with her Clonazepam 10 mg

for stress:

Olive Leaf Extract 150 mg, General Multiple Vit-Mineral, B vits, Vit C,

Flaxseed Oil Capsule, a prescription digestive enzymes capsule called

Ku-Zyme. Dana or someone, have you ever heard of this enzyme product

and is it a good one?

At night she gets medication Geodon 60 mg, Lexapro 80 mg -for her mood

and her OCD.

Her nighttime supplements are Magnesium 500 mg, Biotin, 2000 mcg, Vit C

500 mg. Takes 1 prescription digestive enzyme capsule Ku-Zyme.

Also, I sometimes give her a Probiotic chewable in the afternoon or she

eats yogurt.

Thanks for any information regarding ALA, Ku-Zyme, and any

recommendations on the supplements my daughter takes, including times

of day or night for them. --Thanks!

ALA is a chelator, so you need to research different protocols. I

started low dose for my kids, and gave it 3x per day for 3 days, then

took 4 days off.

It will tend to remove minerals, and also increase yeast.
