Guest guest
Hi Randi, For the last 3 years my son was also on celexa (lowest dosage possible 1/2 pill). This was to control his anxiety. I found that this would cause him to act like a zombie, no life in him whatsoever. The meds were basically controlling him. Since 3 months now we decided to go another route, remove the meds and do the enzymes, probiotics and supplements. At first it was chaos. It made him an angry little boy. He hit, kicked, slapped me. My son was detoxing naturally so I was there to support him and embrace him once that difficult stage was over with. One month later with the aide of the enzymes, probiotics and supplements he is such an alert little guy, with his own personality and he fights his own battles when his little sister picks on him. We are not out of the woods yet to say he is recovered from the Autistic Spectrum Syndrom, but even without the aid of celexa, he is not anxious anymore, he is focused, homework is a sinch and he is a little jokester. I never thought I would see the day. I just wanted to let you know my story in case one day or maybe even presently you are considering taking him off Celexa. This will be a long journey, one I am willing to take until my son is recovered. Take care, Heleni mack8233 <mack8233@...> wrote: Hi. I haven't posted on this board much but we are pretty new to enzymes. My son is often " flat " , and tired during the school day - hard to motivate and really get going. He is much better later in the day and at night and does sleep well. He is on celexa, phenol assist and now 1/2 cap. of candex for yeast but I thin this was all going on before the enzymes. Any thoughts? Dana, maybe you have some insight. Thanks, Randi --------------------------------- Looking for a X-Mas gift? Everybody needs a Flickr Pro Account! When does he get his supps/medication? What does he eat in the morning? It sounds to me like he is either not tolerating something from the morning, or he needs something earlier that he is not getting until later.
