Guest guest
A few weeks ago I had to fly - hate to fly. My mom gave me one of her Klonopin which she takes for anxiety. I took 1/2 of it and felt pretty good. I didn't mind flying in the little puddle jumper of a plane. The ride was bumpy but I didn't care too much. I started to think if it took the edge of my terror of flying then I wonder if something like this would help my 11 year old autistic son with his anxiety over school. It's not so much school that stresses him out its the two other boys that are in the self-contained classroom with him. My son has a case of not realizing he is not different from them. The other boys are very non-verbal and make a lot of noises, which bother my son. Does anyone give their child medication or anxiety? I am looking for suggestions to discuss with my son's doctor. Thank you in advance for your help.
