Guest guest
I will like some feedback from parents that have used the Vitamin A protocol. 1. Is it really recommended as a treatment for autism? 2. Does it really help autistic children? 3. What are the side effects that we should be looking for? Any other information that you have regarding the Vitamin A protocol is helpful. Thanks in advance. & Gloria Zamora
Guest guest
It is recommended by some DAN! doctors under some circumstances. See Dr. McCandless' book. I don't know whether it helps, though I have performed the protocol 2 or 3 times at 6 month intervals. I saw no side effects. --- carlchiv10 <carlchiv@...> wrote: > I will like some feedback from parents that have > used the Vitamin A > protocol. > 1. Guest guest
I've been at this for almost a decade and I've never heard of a treatment for Autism. What we've found are treatments for issues that cause Autistic behaviors. CLO helps those that need Vit. A supplementation, due to viruses, malnutrition or other issues. For those reasons, yes, parents have seen a full scale of improvement from a little help to radical improvement in health and varying behavioral issues clear up or lessen with CLO supplementation. Not all children need the same dose, some can't handle the flavored versions, some do better on one brand vs. another brand. The Wonderful thing is that the documentation surrounding CLO is so much more substantial now, makes the decision making process easier. In the past there was too much guessing. Questions and Help on Vitamin A Protocol I will like some feedback from parents that have used the Vitamin A protocol. 1. Is it really recommended as a treatment for autism? 2. Is it really recommended as a treatment for autism? It was very helpful for my son. I wrote his story at the bottom of this page http://www.danasview.net/vitamina.htm > 2. Does it really help autistic children? It did my son, altho I had to address other viruses also. > 3. What are the side effects that we should be looking for? Watch for signs of toxicity, which I have listed on my page above. Dana
