Shoshannah,

The addition of enzymes to your children's lives is

relatively inexpensive and will make a significant

difference.

You should also consider being trained in delivering

hemoglobin electroencephalography (HEG) and EEG Biofeedback

(aka neurofeedback, aka neurotherapy) to your children.

You can find significant literature on these methods at

www.isnr.org/ComprehensiveBibliography.cfm

http://www.isnr.org/CBCog.cfm these are different organizations

of the same literature. The list is not exhaustive so further

research is needed to fill in the picture, for example the fundamental

pioneer, Barry Sterman, is not on the bibliography.

You can relatively inexpensively begin to use these modes as well

as enzymes.

Will enqymes REALLY help???

Hi,

I just stumbled across the website looking up information on " Thunder

Snow " because of the recent snow we have had in Louisville, KY. I am

amazed that I have NEVER heard of any of this before now!

I have six children: #1-totally " normal. #2-Asperger's Syndrome. #3

Severe Central Auditory Processing Disorder. #4 Severe nonverbal

learning disorder + ADD + mild CAPD. #5 ADD + CAPD. #6 ADD + CAPD. My

oldest is 32. My youngest is 11.

My husband and I have spent, and spent, and spent, to 1.)get

evaluations, 2.)get therapy, 3.)pay private school tuition to

" special schools " for FIVE, out of six, children.

Our lives are CONSUMED by " learning differences!!! "

Please, somebody, ANYBODY, PLEASE tell me . . . does this enzyme

thing WORK? Or is it just another avenue down which we can spend MORE

money?

Shoshannah,

I agree, enzymes are not that expensive and if you call Houstons they

will send a trial size if you want. It should only take a month or

two to know if they are making a difference. Usually there are some

bumps in the road when starting as they adjust so low and slow helps.

Good luck, biomedical interventions are a great compliment to

therapy and behavior work. You dont have to chose one or the other.

In my experience biomedical has done more for not that much money, it

also gets to the physical root of the problem.
