Guest guest
I have twins, I started their antifungal and antiviral treatment right after their summer school and after a few days their eye contact improved a lot, they are now staring at people, their noticing each other now, and my other son who has a low muscle tone became a lot stronger. He's now running a lot faster, and he would actually play now on their swing set and climber, before he's scared of those. Even their teacher notice the difference and she even told us to continue whatever we are doing. Sissy Estep <sestep@...> wrote: What kind of improvements have you seen? Thanks! Sissy question about supplements I'm doing an antifungal rotation as well as anti viral on my kids and I've seen great improvement. I stop giving them their other supplements while doing this, currently I'm giving them OLE, GSE, biotin, Lysine, oil of oregano, and cranberry extract. Do they need to take other supplements too like magnesium while on antifungal treatment? Thanks a lot
Guest guest
That's awesome! I'm going to hit the antivirals hard and see what happens. We got improvement with antifungals, then my son regressed again. Same thing with chelation and then with enzymes. I suspect the problem is viral so I'm hoping for some improvement with OLE. Which of the other supplements you use are anti-viral? Thanks, Sissy PS I'm also mom to twins, now 10 years old!
Guest guest
I've read that cranberry extract has anti fungal and anti viral effect so I tried that first for 1 week then I add OLE, then lysine and biotin, then I stop the cranberry and use GSE, then Oil of oregano, but my kids didn't seem to tolerate oil of oregano they started visual stimming, basically I'm rotating the anti fungals now I'm trying the coconut oil. Guest guest
This is what I have learned. Their immune systems are deficient. Therefore, anything at all that builds their immune systems, helps their bodies to work better, kills pathogens or rids toxins, will help. The more you do, the more assistance his body will be getting. So, yes, I would also do vitamins and minerals. I do herbs, diet, vitamins, minerals, sun, and behavioral modification. I am now targeting bacteria and viruses, and other possible pathogens pretty hard. Note, I have already got their bodies working well with probiotics, vitamins, minerals, herbs, and diet and sun. Don't forget to test for Lyme, see: _http://www.publichealthalert.org/March%2007%20PHA.pdf_ (http://www.publichealthalert.org/March%2007%20PHA.pdf) Heidi ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
Guest guest
I am new to the supplement and gluten-free diet world. I have found some great cookbooks and found all the " new " flours that we need. My problems is about supplements. I hadn't really thought about it or thought my kids would need it, but reading all your posts, I'm starting to wonder if I should. I don't really know what they are lacking in (allergy testing and bloodwork all came back " fine " from their regular pede). I wouldn't know what is out there, what to give them for what " problems " or how much - I wouldn't want to O.D. the kids! SO: 1. How did you all get started with the supplement issue? 2. How do you know what to give them - what they are lacking in? 3. Did you go to a special doctor to help you? 4. How do you know how much to give them? 5. Are there certain brands that are better than others? 6. Where do you buy them? Is there a " discount " place to buy them? 7. Is there a book or website I can read to get me started, or is it best to use a doctor? Thank you all for any information you can give me to get started. Guest guest
> I wouldn't know what is out there, what to give them for > what " problems " or how much - I wouldn't want to O.D. the kids! Write your kids' problems, and people here can give you ideas on what helped their kids with those same problems. > 1. How did you all get started with the supplement issue? Lots of research and asking questions. > 2. How do you know what to give them - what they are lacking in? You can test, if you want. I just went by observation of symptoms for my kids. > 3. Did you go to a special doctor to help you? I didn't. > 4. How do you know how much to give them? Ask other parents. Start with low dose and work up until it appears to be the correct dose for your child. > 5. Are there certain brands that are better than others? What worked best at my house, were brands which did not contain many additives and fillers. I bought my enzymes from HNI online. All the rest of the supplements I bought at my local health food store. > 6. Where do you buy them? Is there a " discount " place to buy them? VRP is good for discounts http://www.vrp.com/ > 7. Is there a book or website I can read to get me started, I have a lot of links on my site. Here is my biomedical page http://www.danasview.net/parent3.htm Here is a page of stories of recovery, you can browse here and decide what you might want to consider for your child. http://www.danasview.net/recover.htm Dana
Guest guest
The chinese medicine gold coin grass is great for kidney stones. It cured mine [ ] Question about Supplements We just started the GAPs diet and the bio-kult about 5 days ago. We had done Weston Price for about 4 years prior to GAPs. For the last two years, I have been going to a chiropractor who has put me on lots of minerals to break down my kidney stones. It has been working . . . however, the minerals she is giving me has lots of things that we are not supposed to have in it. Any suggestions what I should do? Thanks,
