Hi Dana-

My 7 1/2 yr. old had another one of his severe rage episodes today.

When I first started his new protocol with the mito cocktail, magnesium.

biotin, etc. he was a dream. Every day was great for him for over a

week. I am worried again now, because he has been regressing the past 4

days. He has been having meltdowns, covering his ears and screaming at

the top of his lungs, looking up at the ceiling swaying his head back

and forth while saying jibberish and laughing inappropriately, etc.

Today he had one of his worst aggresive, rage meltdowns in a long time.

Tonight he had diarrhea. Do you think this is just the yeast rearing

it's ugly head? Sometimes I think he lends toward schizophrenia. It

makes me so sad to see him this way, because I know how sweet he can be.

I tried giving him 2-3 drops of GSE twice a day for the last few days,

but I don't know if it is working enough for him. I would love any

advice you might have.

Thanks,

Leigh

Do you have any yeast protocol in place? You'll need one.

These meant yeast overgrowth at my house. Try increasing the yeast

protocol.

What things would you recommend that I do differently to fight the

yeast? He is on 2-3 drops GSE twice a day for the past few days. How

much do I need to increase him with this? (he's 51 lbs.). I thought I

might need to start giving him a probiotic alongside his GSE again.

He wasn't doing very good with his probiotic so I had taken him off, but

maybe I should try again. Should I just take him off of the Behavior

Balance (contains B12 and DMG) and L Carnosine. Maybe I should just

pull him off of the Vita Spectrum (multi and mineral) for a few days

too. I could cut back on carbs. He would only be eating meat and

veggies then (even for breakfast), because he doesn't eat eggs yet.

Anything else I should be thinking of?

Thanks, Leigh

Try giving a third dose, see if that helps things. If it does, add

another drop or two to each dose.

I have given much more than this, but start with gradual increases.

Give GSE at least 2 hours apart from probiotics.

I used biotin instead of probiotics.

Is it helping him?

At my house, B12 and TMG required folic acid and carnitine for proper

absorption, and they did tend to increase yeast at first. Carnosine

tended to deplete zinc.

**Well. Igot a little bold on my own yesterday. I increased his drops

to 5-6 drops (morning and lunchtime) yesterday. I also pulled him off

all his supplements just for a few days, except for magnesium, Trienza,

and Melatonin (at night). I increased his proteins and decreased his

carbs again. I am seeing a positive change in him *already* today.

Wow, that happened fast. Love how that GSE works so fast! I think I

will discontinue his Behavior Balance and L Carnosine altogether and

purchase the TMG. I'll start him back on all his supplements in a

couple days - Carnitine, folic, Mito cocktail, multi, magnesium, biotin,

etc. I'm still leery about the probiotics from his bad reactions in the

past, so I'll stick to the biotin that you mentioned. Thank you for

helping me again!

Great!

Start one at a time. You can go more quickly this time tho.
