Guest guest
I take self injectible meds as well as giving my son the MB12 shots. There is always a bubble in my needle and what I do is take the cap off, hold it straight up with the needle in the air and tap it hard, even flick it with my finger to work the bubble to the top. Then I gently push the plunger until the liquid pushes the air out. hope you figure something out Kerrie In a message dated 8/22/2007 11:57:13 P.M. Guest guest
Hi Folks We have been on a road trip for the past several days. I have always carried the B12 shot in the cooler with lots of ice and its always been in a cool, so I am not worried that it has gone bad. But I suppose that there has been some amount of expansion/contraction that there is an air bubble in the shot now. Anyone know what I should do? Throw it away? Guest guest
Gosh, only an old pro in giving my dogs shots. I had to " suck " my own stuff into the needle. I always put more in than needed and pushed back out what I needed and give a little " flick " to the bottle for the air pockets. Honestly, if anything small remained, I haven't worried, again, only a dog. So not sure if did any harm. I did mine basically sub Q and only a few in the muscle, which were pre loaded and not an issue. Can you empty, reload?
