Guest guest
My daughter has been low weight forever...(should have been the second clue to her Austism, behind the constant thrush - GOD what I would give to go back in time - LOL!!!) Anyhow, she's 7, weighs 38 pounds per our bathroom scale and has been that weight for two years now. She is also shorter than most 7 year olds. I'm hoping the new diet and supps (enzymes/GSE/OLE/Virastop/probiotics) will help in this area with time. She's been on the diet for 3 months, and we've been adding in the supps over the last 3 weeks. BUT...is there anything out there that would help her now with some weight gain - and would mix in w/her other supps? THANKS!

We are doing Yasko protocol. You can increase it. For low weight, also consider adding EFAs. Dana
Guest guest
We are supposed to limit Fatty Acids to every other day. A recent MAP showed issues with fatty acid metabolism. :-( Chris _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of danasview Sent: Saturday, November 03, 2007 10:43 AM Subject: Re: Low Weight > We have the same problem as Dana and We already add ½ carnitine tablet a > day, should we add even more? I wrote about it here http://www.danasview.net/mar05.htm Dana
Guest guest
So what is low weight a sign of? My 15 yo ds is only 96 lbs., very bony. What can I give him to " beef up " . He loves meat and veggies and is not a carb eater. Y. Re: autistic son brand new to group and overwhelmed Which one to start with? And how much for a 3.5 year old who weighs 35 lb.? Yes, I am using a probiotic: Dr. Ohhira's Probiotics 12 Plus (original formula). What do you recommend? Thanks:)

He loves meat and veggies and is not a carb eater. Sometimes it is a sign of improper digestion and absorption of fats, and mito cocktail can help http://www.danasview.net/mar05.htm Carnitine can help with proper absorption of certain nutrients [including fats, and other things].
