Guest guest
>I Personally had C. difficile in the spring, was not able to tolerate the normal antibiotic treatment so I researched it on the internet and found that C. diff does not like acidic environments so I began taking betaine HCL, it is a digestive enzyme which increases the acidic of your stomach, Oil of Oreageno and lots and lots of probiotics. Along with regular probiotics I take Kefir which is a yogert drink. I was noticably better within 2 -3 weeks instead of months like most C. diff patients are who follow conventional methods. I do know that some people were successful with just eating acidic foods such as tomato juice instead of taking the HCL. If you Google C.diff alterative treatment or natural treatment you may find the info I just gave. Prior to starting this treatment I was very, very sick. I still take HCL with every meal and lots of probiotics. I only took the Oil of Oregano for about 1 month. For a young child I would try acidic foods and lots and lots of probiotics. What has happened is the bad bacteria is over taking the good bacteria in the intestines. I hope this helps. Guest guest
Thank you Vickie for sharing your story! Huge help. Thankfully he's not a full blown sick kid but I guess when I goggled I just got the conventional medical stuff, which scared me more. Thanks for the goggle suggestions, I'll have to do some more reading. I picked up one of the yogurt drink, Dan Active maybe, smaller and thankfully he liked it. I'll have to give Kefir a try too. I also ordered from Custom Probiotic and placed an order on BC for lots of stuff! Thanks Tammy Re: Clostridia and C. difficile >I Personally had C. difficile in the spring, was not able to tolerate the normal antibiotic treatment so I researched it on the internet and found that C. diff does not like acidic environments so I began taking betaine HCL, it is a digestive enzyme which increases the acidic of your stomach, Oil of Oreageno and lots and lots of probiotics. For my son, I eliminated bacteria with Culturelle, or if it was really bad, olive leaf extract. Dana
