This is my take on it: 1. Yeast: you really need a total program: yeast diet of some kind, antifungal of some kind, yeast-targeting enzymes, detox program, sleep, fluids, and good probiotics. - GSE works great as an antifungal however they are others For enzymes a really good mix appears to be - 3 capsules Candidase enzymes plus - 1 capsule of either Candex or Candizyme. take two in the morning and two at bedtime (or whenever other time between meals works. - Also taking a general broad-spectrum enzyme with meals supports this program. Here is some yeast and bacteria information: http://www.enzymestuff.com/conditionbacteria.htm --------------------- 2. Bacteria: - Probiotics such as Culturelle or other good probiotic - Strong protease enzymes such as ViraStop or any of the straight protease products like Peptizyde or Peptidase Complete - Antibiotic of some type. I used colloidal silver to knock out my son's chronic bacteria problem. -------------------- 3. Virus: - ViraStop - Vitamin C - Olive leaf extract - Lauricidin and other items may help In autism, any antiviral program may cause an increase in yeast for some people (like those with problem yeast already with the viral problem) in the beginning. No one knows exactly why this happens, but it is something that appears to happen only with spectrum people...not other groups. The product vendors don't know why nor do the autism docs nor do the microbe folks at this point, but it pops up no matter what antiviral you use (the Valtrex group talks about it a bunch). Not every person, but it happens often enough. It is weird because the products that tend to work on viruses also work on yeast and bacteria in most people. So if you already struggle with yeast, watch your yeast control program while doing antivirals. .
Guest guest
How is VitalzymeX as an anti viral enzyme? I am a bit suspicious if it is working cos it didnt increase yeast like the OLE did. Thanks Shanthi jornmatt <kdefelice@...> wrote: > > O.k. I'm still in research mode here. Guest guest
Hi, Thanks for posting this. My son has been a non-responder (a lot of viral kids are). I wondered why, when we saw emerging speech, we saw and increase in yeast. I thought for a while that the yeast had something to do with the speech. But your posting has answered my questions, it is so true. Recently we did a trial with OLE - we saw emerging speech come with introducing and disappear when we stopped using it. Then I reintroduced it and hey presto, very slowly he is starting to have emerging speech. And with it the increase in giggling and OCD behavioiurs. Our DAN doc has recommended GSE and Virastop and I just wondered what brands people recommend. Much thanks Una

OLE was really helpful for speech for my son. It eliminates viruses. Viral die off does tend to cause yeast overgrowth, which does tend to cause giggling. http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm > Our DAN doc has recommended GSE and Virastop and I just wondered > what brands people recommend. I used Nutribiotic brand GSE. Virastop is an enzyme by Enzymedica. Dana
Guest guest
We have the same problem with OLE. Speech increased, but it was scripting from Toy Story (he walks around the house repeating the phrase " yard sale " ). Perseverative giggling and hyperactivity are also evident. Could it be the OLE? If so, how can we counteract those effects? Robyn stansmumsteam <unaandjon@...> wrote: Hi, Thanks for posting this. My son has been a non-responder (a lot of viral kids are). Guest guest
Thanks, Dana. He is on GSE and biotin. This morning all of the giggling was gone and he was verbalizing. I'm wondering if it could've been yeast die off that was causing all of the giggling and hyperactivity. Thanks again for all of your valuable info.
