Guest guest
Mine would headbang, scratch, hit himself, etc. Milder form was/is hyperness. The headbanging(self injury is rare now)with improved gi, healing of the intestinal track. They get damaged/ultra sensitive nerves and muscle damage to the gi. This I believe is a cause and affect from vacs! Jennie<>< > > Has anyone seen their child's behavior change for the worse when they > are getting a bowel movement feeling? Guest guest
Yes, definitely and consistently over the past 3 years. Son's bowel movements and behavior Has anyone seen their child's behavior change for the worse when they are getting a bowel movement feeling? When my son is at Sunday school, at the park, at the library (i.e. anywhere he doesn't want to stop what he is doing and " go " ), he gets more hyper or aggressive/oppositional. It is like someone flips a switch. Thanks, Debbie
Guest guest
My son withdraws, loses eye contact, etc. Several times we've thought he got into gluten, then he has a bowel movement and he's back to normal (for him). Interesting, isnt' it? Sissy Son's bowel movements and behavior Has anyone seen their child's behavior change for the worse when they are getting a bowel movement feeling? Guest guest
Yes. behavior is directly linked to lack of BSs. our 4.5 year old son has a huge fear of BM on the potty and it is frustrating. he holds it in for days, likely causing yeast and bacteria issues, and his behavior worsens. we eventually give him a suppository or he poops in his pants (occasionally i have put him back in pull-ups too). I have read so much and am about out of ideas. we are switching peds to one who does more alternative treatments so i am hoping they can help. i keep trying to flush his system so much that he will be forced to go on the potty, but usually it just makes for a very messy accident. anyone have any advice??? denice andrea2@... wrote: Yes, definitely and consistently over the past 3 years. Guest guest
depending on how intense/how much in there, my son's would trigger seizures! The gi is loaded with nerves(depends on damaged/sensitive) and connections to the neuro! Guest guest
Could also be mobility/muscle issue!! Guest guest
When my daughter is constipated she looks like she is autistic. When she is having normal BM, you would not know she has autism. I think the toxic BM is to blame as well as the obsessive thoughts around that area. Guest guest
This is my daughter. I don't have a great solution, but education on the GI tract, Oxypowder daily with a lot of water, and routine of daily BM after dinner works most of the time. When she feels like a BM was hard (hypersensativity) she withholds and I use mineral oil. I had to put her back in pullups this recent time and switched back to underwear when the mess was gone. This is all that has worked. Miralax was a nightmare and all nutrition recommendations failed.
