Guest guest
HI... I just began my sons (1 dx w/ PDD-NOS) on enzymes 3 days ago. I have also been reading in books and through this group (thank you all for your information!) about supplements. A friend recommended BrainChild. Does anyone use this? When should I start? Would this be in addition to or in place of his current vitamin that the pediatrician prescribes? Anything anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Guest guest
Carla, I give my son the Spectrum Support II with Pak from Brainchild - and they have made a world of difference in him. We recently missed several days and boy did I see just how much they actually worked!! Check out their website - brainchildnutritionals.com, they have several different formulas and a lot of information there you can check out as well. They are very helpful as well should you have any questions. Which vitamin is his pediatrician prescribing?? I would venture to guess, that yes, these would replace that. The vitamin your dr prescribed probably has fluoride in it. Feel free to bounce back with any questions, I'm happy to help if I can. Guest guest
Ok. I took my son off his vitamins with fluoride. I dont think fluoride is good. I would suggest having a hair elements test done to see if he is high or low in vitamins/minerals and/ high in any toxic metals and then adjust viamins. I gave my son cod fish liver oil , EFA and enzymes before the hair test BrainChild Nutrionals HI... I just began my sons (1 dx w/ PDD-NOS) on enzymes 3 days ago. Guest guest
My daughter was on it for a year. It was great. I gave her it, Cod liver oil, calcium, and probiotics. Start only one thing at a time to make sure he tolerates each. She is on a different vitamin now due to refusal to drink it anymore. > > HI... > > I just began my sons (1 dx w/ PDD-NOS) on enzymes 3 days ago. Guest guest
I use Brainchildnutritionals.com supplements for my daughter as well. The folks there are really nice. They will help you place your order and answer any questions that you have. They have also allowed me to return supplements that were too harsh for my daughter in the beginning. They seem to a company that really cares. I believe in what they do and how they have helped my daughter. I recommend their supplements to anyone who will listen! Guest guest
I just ordered 2 trial sizes from them. Will that be enough to see a difference? I have to say that it is pretty impressive to have a company willing to offer samples. I have purchased a lot of items that I ended up not needing or my son would not take it. I spent about $12 for 5 samples including the shipping and some of the samples were free!! It is both very smart and very nice for them to offer that. I am excited to see how it works. Guest guest
I'm thinking of swapping to off the PAK of brainchild and going to the sensitive version. Any experience doing this? Can I chelate while on the sensitive formula? Guest guest
Yep, I did the same. I am thinking of starting it during Dec. Holidays. The supplement has 100mg TMG and I already know this doesn't agree with my son. So I have to start only when he has 2 wks of holiday atleast to go thru the adjustment period. Rest of the supplements he is at the dose level of spectrum II w/pAk (B-6 P5P form makes him too hyper and he cries a lot). Good luck, Anandhi --- Tama Clapper <jjcter@...> wrote: > I just ordered 2 trial sizes from them. Will that > be enough to see a > difference?
