Guest guest
http://www.wellmedia.com/news/news100797.html#head ALL IN YOUR HEAD Got a splitting headache? Maybe you've been too critical of yourself lately. Stomach upset? You're deeply fearful of something. And maybe that cold is really telling you you've just taken on too much lately. New-age notable Louise Hay states that our emotional and mental states are deep at the root of every ailment, and should be treated as much as the physical body. Many researchers agree on this mind-body connection. Emotions such as chronic fear, anger, frustration can contribute to cancer, heart disease and other illnesses. While we can't turn off our emotions, learning to channel worrisome thoughts in more positive directions can go a long way towards recovery. In her book, Heal Your Body, Hay outlines the emotional components behind everything from arthritis to yeast infections, and recommends " affirmations " (or mental messages you repeat to yourself) to assist in healing. Here's a sample: ALLERGIES: " Emotionally allergic " to someone/thing in your life. " The world is safe and friendly. I am at peace with my life. " LOWER BACK PROBLEMS: Fears over money; lack of financial support. " All I need is taken care of. I am safe. " CONSTIPATION: Refusing to release old ideas; stuck in the past. " As I release the past, the new, fresh and vital enters. I allow life to flow through me. " NAUSEA: Fear; rejecting new idea or experience. " I am safe. I trust the process of life to bring only good to me. " SORE THROAT: Holding in angry words. Feeling unable to express the self. " I release all restrictions and am free to be me. Guest guest
So it's all in our heads....send her into my old building. Standing empty now..empty for 10 months...can't sell it...can't rent it... She would only have to stay for a few hours...go home ...come back for a few more hours and I guarantee you she would be so sick and sitting in the waiting room at a dr's office... Did she also know that Malinda Ballards crew sent in several rats to live in her house and I am guessing to examine them after a required length of exposure but they were all dead in 13 days...Hmmm!! For all of you out there who are skeptics, or to those who know it is a serious prob lem and want to soften the hysteria, I say to you FORGET IT....All one has to do is talk to those who are suffering...or better yet, get your cot and go live in anyone of the thousands of buildings, courthouses schools and promise you won't bring along your body suit with the face mask. Then report back to us....Oh and be sure to have a witness that you entered the sick building and witnessed how long you stayed....
Guest guest
What's McDonough have to do with the 'all in your head' stuff here? The article looks like it's promoting Louise Hay's typical nonsense where she bashes the patient and confuses the emotional components that co-exist with illness with causality. Is it from an article by McDonough promoting Hay's? Judy mjstouff@...
