Guest guest
my oopinion whenever a child regresses upon increase of supplements this means lower the dose ; the child's system is telling you somtehting I would be extremely careful with High dose Vitamin A; too mauch Vitamin A can CAUSE problems; I'D GO NATURAL WITH THE COD LIVER OIL I would seriously reduce the Vitmin A; this could cause dark circles; VITAMIN C CAN HELP DARK CIRLCES; LIGHTENS THE SKIN NATURALLY; A. > > Hi all, > My son has been taking Houston AFP-Peptizyde, No-Fenol, and Zyme Prime > for about 6 months now, but I've given them to him in 1/3 doses every > meal until recently. Guest guest
Hi A, The reason I'm confused is that behaviorally, he's not regressing. He's doing great! But why the dark circles? Could he be allergic to this brand of enzymes? Maybe I should switch to Enzymatica products? Anyhow, please share your concerns with high-dose Vit A. It was given to me by his DAN and it was used only for 2 days. He takes CLO and 2000mg Vit C on a daily basis otherwise. Thanks, Anissa > > > > Hi all, > > My son has been taking Houston AFP-Peptizyde, No-Fenol, and Zyme > Prime > > for about 6 months now, but I've given them to him in 1/3 doses > every > > meal until recently. Guest guest
I wonder if it's not the enzymes at all but a food intolerance? Or yeast die off? There are so many reasons for dark circles it's hard to know what the cause is. Could even be parasites. Ruby's come and go and I think it's food related. > > > > > > Hi all, > > > My son has been taking Houston AFP-Peptizyde, No-Fenol, and Zyme > > Prime > > > for about 6 months now, but I've given them to him in 1/3 doses > > every > > > meal until recently. Is the Zyme Prime the version without papain/bromelain? Dark circles are commonly caused by food issues. Phenol issues are the most common, and No-Fenol did not address all phenol foods for my son http://www.danasview.net/phenol.htm Dana
Guest guest
Thanks everyone for your replies. I am starting to think the circles are from a food sensitivity. I was hoping to increase the variety of foods with increased enzyme use, but looks like I'll have to figure out the offending food and remove it first! My son is using AFP-Peptizyde which does not have bromelain/papain. I'm not aware that Zyme Prime comes in a similar formulation. Please let me know if it does. Thanks again for your help. I have such high hopes for enzyme use and I don't want to be discouraged when I don't understand what the heck is going on! I'm grateful for this group! ~Anissa > > My son has been taking Houston AFP-Peptizyde, No-Fenol, and Zyme Prime > > for about 6 months now, but I've given them to him in 1/3 doses every > > meal until recently. Guest guest
Dana, You mentioned that No-Phenol did not address all phenol issues for your son. Are you using another product instead? Is that working? My son is GF,CF,SF free for about seven months and continues to have dark circles under his eyes. (Not to mention we have seen vary little change in behavior since being the diet.) We are beginning to think it is a phenol issue, so we just started him on No-Phenol. In case this does not work for him, I will be looking for alternatives besides completely removing all phenols from his diet too. (We already rotate.) With regards to Zyme Prime, you mentioned the version without papain/bromelain. Is this better? Thank you, Lana > > My son has been taking Houston AFP-Peptizyde, No-Fenol, and Zyme Prime > > for about 6 months now, but I've given them to him in 1/3 doses every > > meal until recently. Guest guest
> Dana, > You mentioned that No-Phenol did not address all phenol issues for > your son. Are you using another product instead? Is that working? No-Fenol addressed " natural " phenol issues. For artificials and corn syrup, I needed to use molybdenum and selenium. For lutein/carotene conversion [which is another issue with most foods that are high phenol], I had to do ALA chelation and add vitamin C, zinc, and selenium. Try adding selenium first. >>With regards to Zyme Prime, you > mentioned the version without papain/bromelain. Is this better? Some kids have problems with papain/bromelain, so try using the version of Zyme Prime that does not contain those ingredients. Dana
Guest guest
Just wanted to jump in quick. My dd had circles under her eyes for a very long time. We addressed phenols, intolerances, etc and threelac did temporarily make them disappear. On her 7 year check up she was found to be slightly anemic. When we added iron the dark circles cleared up. > > > My son has been taking Houston AFP-Peptizyde, No-Fenol, and Zyme > Prime > > > for about 6 months now, but I've given them to him in 1/3 doses > every > > > meal until recently.
