Guest guest
I have heard that GSE works well with yeast issues. Does anyone give it to their child who is also on a timed released med? I remember hearing that this is not recommended? Any thoughts as to why? She is on Adderall XR, just once per day? Could I then give it to her at night when the adderall is out of her system? Looking for ideas to help with yeast. Can't seem to control it. in IL
Guest guest
-Aderall and GSE should not be an issue to use at the same time. They are completely unrelated in their function in the body. I am not sure wehere you read that it was not recomended, but I have not read that in any of Andy's books. I have used GSE successfully as have many others here. Just begin at a low dose, say maybe half a pill, and over the next few days gradually adding in more to keep from having a huge die off reaction. GSE is a natural antibiotic, antifungal made from grapefruit seeds. It should not be a problem with Aderall. -- In , Ken Maher <kwmaher29@...> wrote: > > > > I have heard that GSE works well with yeast issues. Start with one drop in the morning. It is high phenol so you might need to use No-Fenol enzyme with it. Dana
Guest guest
It would be wonderful if the American Cancer Society would spend just a few of the many millions of dollars they collect from sincere donors to study and make widely available this potential cure for cancer. Guest guest
Does someone use GSE for curing cancer? Even if they do, the ACS would never support the idea, because their idea of cancer research is studies done on immortal cell lines. Gerald Dermer's book " The Immortal Cell " speaks about this. Current methods of cancer research are almost completely fruitless, because their research model is faulty. Also, I've read a study done by the U.S. Agriculture Dept, and a Japanese researcher, who concluded that the active constituent in GSE is actually Benzalkonium Chloride (or one of it's analogues, I forget which one exactly), not the natural substances in GSE. The active constituent has been in dispute, apparently, since the earliy 80's, so personally, although at one time I felt GSE was a great product, I now feel somewhat unsure. It may be that its active ingredient is a powerful germicidal chemical that is somehow introduced into the GSE product. -Ken Bagwell > > > > > It would be wonderful if the American Cancer Society > > would spend just a few of the many millions of > > dollars they collect from sincere donors to study > > and make widely available this potential cure for > > cancer. Guest guest
Hi Dana, Thank you, I figured it was that, but Kirkman's spectrum complete has grapeseed extract in it, that is why I got confused. Thanks again, Kim Re: GSE > > Hi Dana, When you say GSE. Do you mean grapefruit seed extract or grapeseed extract? Thanks, Kim Grapefruit seed extract for yeast. Guest guest
, you want grapeFRUIT seed extract for yeast, grape seed extract is a great antioxidant but most don't get much yeast control from that. Nutribiotic makes an organic brand in a liquid (which some think is more effective, tastes rather yucky but can be somewhat disguised in lemonade), tablets and capsules. We tried the liquid early on, it did nothing but gave her her first case of acid reflux but didn't seem to do much for the yeast. We recently revisited this and used 250 mg capsules and when we used 5 per day, it was effective so we probably weren't using enough liquid. [ ] GSE I want to purchase in case yeast gets out of hand. Kirkmans has grape fruit seed extract. Is this the same as grape seed extract?
Guest guest
Thank you for clearing that up for me. I was ordering from Kirkmans so I was wondering if I could just order that brand? Have you tried biotin? One time, I was giving 4-5 tablets GSE with each dose of anti-virals, but when I gave a sufficient dose of biotin, I was able to entirely eliminate the GSE. Guest guest
I'd start him with about 10 mg which is 1 drop of the liquid, so maybe just a sprinkle or 1/8th of the powder from the capsules? Give it with no-fenol. Back when we had horrendous yeast problems I used to alternate GSE and probiotics with each dose of chelator. So, I'd give GSE with one dose, probiotics with the next dose, back and forth like that. But, for the first day you should probably just give it once in the morning and see how things go. Guest guest
Thank you i will do that. I had no idea what one drop translated to mg. I have been giving probiotics so if he tolerates the GSE i will try the alternating. Thanks alot : ) [ ] Re: GSE I'd start him with about 10 mg which is 1 drop of the liquid, so maybe just a sprinkle or 1/8th of the powder from the capsules? Give it with no-fenol. Guest guest
> How much and how often to give GSE. I only have the powdered capsules > so I am not sure how many mg to start with. One drop liquid equals 10mg. I would start with a small sprinkle. Adding biotin eliminated our GSE requirement, so you can try adding biotin and see if that helps. Guest guest
> > What do you hide GSE in besides juice? Any ideas? I put drops in empty capsules, or gave it as a tablet. I have also mixed it into peanut butter and honey. Lemonade and orange juice can work well. So can tomato juice. Dana

Guest guest
> i still need help with gse dosing. i asked a question a couple of days ago because ds has been stimming more in the past 3 weeks since starting gse. im only on 1 drop a day but just increased to 2/day. how do i know when to stop increasing? he only weighs 30lbs, but has a real problem w/ yeast. im not sure if this stimming is related to die-off, or if he isnt tolerating the gse. he doesnt seem to have any other problems other than the extra stimming. What are the stims? Do you still notice yeast overgrowth symptoms? If so, which ones? If you suspect he is not tolerating the GSE, you can try giving it with No-Fenol enzyme, or try oil of oregano instead. Dana
