Hepatitis B. Most hospitals now give it at birth. I still do not understand

why you would give an hours old baby that vacination.

Good question, isn't it. How many newborns do drugs or have sex, the methods by

which HepB is transmitted?

My son has 10X the normal titers for HepB. He was vaccinated in Korea before we

adopted him so I had no say. It makes me crazy.

I am told hep b is given at birth in order to 'catch' the babies at highest

risk of exposure, the babies born to hep b parents. The parents engaging in

high risk behaviors are also the ones who are least likely to return to the

pediatrician in a timely fashion for the the childs immunizations to be on

schedule. (Those parents are too busy engaging in the high risk behavior!

LOL) So everyone gets the shot at birth. Population medicine rather than

individualized care. In veterinary medicine we call it 'herd medicine'. I

do not agree with it but that's the way it is.

Hi Rhonda!! I am referring to the hepatitis B vaccine that is givin at birth!!

We are pretty confident this is what caused our son to go blind the first year

of his life!! It pretty much is a vac that is ridiculously used. The primary

cause of hep B is through needles/sex!! Most strans of hepatitis(not all but the

ones they vaccinate for) only last a few weeks(fatigue being the primary affect)

then passes and then immune for life! With the vac, the toxic

chemicals/ingredients cause far more damage than hepB and is usually life long

damage even death(SIDS)!! Everything they are vaccinating us from is something

our bodies overall can recover from and then immunity for life. Im sorry group,

but I truely believe in my heart that vaccines is all about $$$$$$ and more in

depth reasons that i wont bring up(I admit, I am an extremist now)!!! Even the K

shot is toxic(they have the same " chemicals " /ingredients as most vacs). It isnt

even the true natural form of K our body needs.

Sorry, dont mean to rattle on, but I easily could when it comes to the vac

subject. I madly researched on it for almost 2 years(almost lost our son because

of them) and learned way to much about them!!! But yes, I am referring to the

hep B vac at birth, not the HIB!
