Hi Everyone-

I was wondering if someone could explain this to me. A friend of mine

experiences a sense of numbness and decreased strength in his right hand (his

grip is so weak that if he squeezes with all of his strength, it would barely

feel like he was trying) He experiences this on a fairly regular basis. He was

also feeling numbness in his left quadracep although that is not happening to

him currently. This has all been going on for a little less than a year. He is

a 34 year old male who smokes, drinks alcohol and coffee, has a relatively poor

diet and does

not exercise regularly. He also has a decent amount of stress in his life. He

did go for a check up a few months back and the Dr. didn't say too much as too

what he thought was causing this and what he could do to get rid of it. Has

anyone ever heard of such a thing or know what can be done about this...other

than maybe taking better care of himself?

Thanks for your imput~

In this movie they made the charcters with environmental illness look like people that are weak and bored and with little direction in life and fairly dead spiritually. It looks like they needed this illness to get attentsion and therefore they wished it on themselves. They need to be rescued. So it is all in their head and so not a "real" illness.

This is one movie that YOU DO NOT want those that fight against us and the existance of this illness to see, for sure. It would be a huge set-back for all of us.

Patti,

Thanks for sharing that information. Maybe we should make our own movie.

I am living with Environmental Illness. The movie was a little reminiscent of a place I stayed in Texas for a while which was an experience I'm likely never to forget. Those that do not have EI cannot even imagine the challenges of those enduring it. I turned on the movie for a few moments and found it slow and depressing..and not necessarily an accurate reflection... I then turned it off. Perhaps someday I'll be able to make my own movie regarding the controversy surrounding Multiple Chemical Sensitive also known as Environmental Illness. Now.. there are diagnostic tests (to my knowledge neurological and immunological) available through qualified physicians for documenting immune system dysfunction...which can then further explain results in anything from mild to severe chemical sensitivities..

The possibilities are endless for what happens to an organisms once it becomes injured. The understatement of the years is: The system needs enlightenment and change.

Does anyone know of any publishers who are interested in the books about the effects of toxic mold on people? I am a teacher and I have written a book about it and cannot find a publisher.

Bella:

I live in Eagan, MN by St. and we saw Dr. G last Oct. 2001, and my four

year old son is still non-verbal but doing better. E mail me privately if

you have any questions on seeing Dr. Goldberg, it was worth our time and

money and the long wait to get in!

, Thank you for the good suggestions and info about paralysis

preparation.

Mariko, microspine seems pretty honest. They stated that my Thoracic10-11

surgery was NOT a candidate for laser surgery.
