Guest guest
Have you increased anti-yeast protocol? anti-viral causes yeast overgrowth to my son. He had 23 days of regression after taking Valtrex, then gained everything back. However the yeast overgrowth was a big issue, I had to stop Valtrex. He is on OLE plus Virastop now. I remember my son vomit 8 times and developed a low fever when we introduced OLE at 1/3 cap (500mg/cap). We had to stop OLE and reintroduced it from 1/16 cap. Could it be die off reaction? How about give him a lower dosage of anti-viral and increase the anti-yeast protocol? Connie Antiviral therapy? Hi, Can parents please share their experience with virastop. Or for the matter, valtrex or other antiviral therapy. Can lethargy and being emotional be part of healing regression? Has anyone seen big gains with virastop and how long did it take. Was there a healing regression and what was it? sorry for so many questions...I am really desperate to get some answers. My 4.5 yr old child with asd is on virastop since past 2 weeks. He has become extremely lethargic, emotional and stimming more. His ABA therapists have also stopped coming since they feel it has become aversive when they try to work with him. Before virastop, he was nicely progressing with ABA, and ofcourse all the supplement were also helping him. I don't see any rashes on him now. He did have few when we started and they disappeared in few days. Also later, he had fevers on and off and they have also gone. now it is the emotional and irritable symptoms. I am just so confused if I am doing the right thing since I have never seen him this way. Thanks very much rohini
Guest guest
> Can parents please share their experience with virastop. It worked well here, altho some kids don't do well with it. >> Or for the > matter, valtrex or other antiviral therapy. I never used Valtrex. I eliminated viruses here with OLE, Virastop, vitamin C, and lysine. >> Can lethargy and being > emotional be part of healing regression? As a " general rule " , I don't believe in the concept of healing regression. Regressions are caused by specific factors, in my experience. Sometimes they are necessary, most of the time they are not. Lethargy and emotional, related to anti-virals, I would first consider yeast overgrowth. Viral die off tends to cause a LOT of yeast. >> Has anyone seen big gains > with virastop and how long did it take. Not just from Virastop, but from all four of the supps I indicated above, my son's language and social skills vastly improved, and most of his stims disappeared. It took 4 years to completion. >>Was there a healing > regression and what was it? Not for my son, altho I did have to keep yeast under control. I used biotin and GSE. > My 4.5 yr old child with asd is on virastop since past 2 weeks. He > has become extremely lethargic, emotional and stimming more. This may have been the first wave of viral die off. Dana
Guest guest
My guess would be a lack of sufficient Vit. C and Zinc as well as amplified yeast issues. As we treat the viral issues with Virastop and Monolaurin (yes, at one time we used Valtrex, with no success) we require even more Vit. C, Zinc and a mirror increase in our yeast protocol. If we don't dose the GSE, Candidase and No Fenol within 60-90 minutes after doing the antiviral treatment, we get a temper the likes of which there is no reasoning with the child. If we don't increase the Vit. C and Zinc (basically I now give the Vit. C and a multi-vitamin at the same time I dose the antiviral) to match each increase in the viral protocol, he's weak, doesn't want to be in the sun, lethargic, can't keep his head up to do his homework. So, I increase as I see the symptoms return. We're on a steady increase of the Virastop, but in order to reinstate the Ojibwa tea treatment, which also has antiviral properties, I had to forgo one of our virastop/monolaurin doses. So, I don't know that our protocol would work for anyone else. I will write this, we've seen the IgA increase during our Virastop protocol, may be due to the large doses of proteases, may be due to the boost his immune system is getting with regard to the virus (herpes 6). Don't know. I also know that he doesn't require the Vit. C/Zinc when we dose the tea, so I know it's gentler on him, and the tea's herbs are high in those vitamins in and of themselves, so this too helps. Antiviral therapy? Guest guest
Thanks so much to all. So I payed close attention and it appeared as though his behavior issues escalated 1/2 hr to an hr after virastop. And after the diflucan which I have started giving once daily mid- morning, he appears to be fine for a short period of time till his next virastop dose. So I added no-fenol along with the virastop and gave him and he is a LOT better. Yes, he does get 50 mg of zinc and 4 doses of 500 mg Vit C daily. He also gets biotin, transfer factor, lauricidin, enzymes, apart from the other supplements. He is at 11 caps per day of virastop. After the yeast control, he has become his normal self. I was hoping to see some gains, but have not seen any except for the clearing of his eczema (which ofcourse is a big one). How high have you gone on the virastop? And have you seen any gains with it. Also, I was curious if after the valtrex regression ended, did you see any gains at all? Thanks Rohini > > My guess would be a lack of sufficient Vit. C and Zinc as well as amplified yeast issues. Guest guest
> You mentioned that you gave OLE and lysine along with virastop and vit > C. Can you please tell me the doses of all these. I am thinking of > slowly add these supplements. Be sure to give lysine at least 2 hours apart from OLE, the lysine will inactivate the OLE. I started one at a time, so I could monitor reactions. This protocol will tend to cause a LOT of yeast, because viral die off tends to cause a LOT of yeast. I used biotin and GSE to control yeast. I started with the following doses per day, and worked up: OLE: 250mg Lysine: 250mg Vitamn C: 250mg Virastop: 1 capsule on empty stomach Dana
Guest guest
> Thanks very much, Dana. Are there any upper limits to these 4 > supplements? Yes. I increased slowly until they started causing problems [except yeast, which they will cause, because viral die off causes yeast]. But once I reached the limit, they did cause other problems. > We are at 11 caps of virastop and 3000 mg of Vit C divided 3 times a > day. His stools are formed, we never saw diarrhea, if at all he is on > the constipated side. Yeast overgrowth can be constipating. Try increasing your yeast protocol. Guest guest
Alessandra Can you tell me the proper way to use Candidase? The bottle says you should use it for 2 weeks - but it seems people on the list are using it longer. We know we are battling yeast. I am also unclear as to whether that automatically means Candida or if there are different types of yeast. Thanks much --------------------------------- Never miss a thing. Make your homepage.
