Guest guest
I experienced the same thing...for whatever reason, Tri enza does not produce the same results then using the seperate enzymes. Kathy stiiming Hi I changed my sons enzymes from AFP peptizyde and no fenol to tri-enza. i noticed he started doing a stimm pacing thinh he ued to do 4 months ago tha had compeltally disapeared. He also has bad bacteria and a parasite he is being treated for. I decided to add some of the old AFP in between meals and a bit added at meals with the tri-enza although i know its in there. He stimmed so much less today. Coincidence? Any thoughts? Thanks

Guest guest
We had the same problem. It took us some time to figure it out that it could be the TRIENZA but last week we switched back to the separate enzymes and school is already reporting that stimming has improved > > > I experienced the same thing...for whatever reason, Tri enza does not produce the same results then using the seperate enzymes. > > Kathy > stiiming > > > Hi > I changed my sons enzymes from AFP peptizyde and no fenol to tri- enza. > i noticed he started doing a stimm pacing thinh he ued to do 4 months > ago tha had compeltally disapeared. Guest guest
HI We too had that problem, but w/ time it went away...it was just like starting over again...how long have you all been on the trienza? It took us a couple of weeks, but now the gains are good. Guest guest
It been about 3 1/2 weeks and it just was getting worse and worse each day. We are out of no fenol but still have the afp so until I get more no fenol I think I am going to give some tri-enza but also AFP and see how that goes. stiiming > > > Hi > I changed my sons enzymes from AFP peptizyde and no fenol to tri- enza. > i noticed he started doing a stimm pacing thinh he ued to do 4 months > ago tha had compeltally disapeared. Guest guest
Sorry to step in, good to hear this because we just ordered for the first time some trienza and I was getting discouraged reading the emails. I will let you all know our outcome and how our son adapted. Guest guest
We have been on the Trienza since it came out in November or so with no problems until March when he started letter airwriting which would have been just a couple weeks after the new formulation of Trienza came out. Not sure if there is any correlation and I would think it would have started right away if its was the Trienza wouldn't it? I have tried several things per my DAN doctor and also per Dana for this stim (hadn't seen it in years) but nothing is working and his teacher said it may be getting worse. tami stiiming > > > Hi > I changed my sons enzymes from AFP peptizyde and no fenol to tri- enza. > i noticed he started doing a stimm pacing thinh he ued to do 4 months > ago tha had compeltally disapeared. Guest guest
We've been on Trienza since Nov./Dec and just started the new formulation about 6 weeks ago. I've since learned that it doesn't have the same amount of No Fenol as a No Fenol capsule - only 1/2 the amount. Could that be the problem? I've been using 3 Trienza's or add'l 1/2 No Fenol to get more in. Unfortunately, I've noticed no benefits of the enzymes (except No Fenol). ASD son still stims and doesn't like eye contact when talking. HTH, Deb
Guest guest
Have you tried AFP peptidyde? This was my sons first enzymes and we saw great things almost right away. He is gf/cf so thats what I tried right away. Has your son had any stool testing for malabsorption, bacteria or yeast? I didnt think my son had any problems and testing came back with problems in all. The AFP helps. Then I added no fenol because I noticed him reacting to high phenolic foods. Tonight while I was at work my sons Dad misunderstood my directions and didn't give tri-enza at all just AFP and my son did not stimm once. It was up to like 5 minutes of stimming every 20 minutes..it was bad. How old is your son? And is he verbal? Guest guest
we have tried folic acid, MB12, TMG, Vit C, put SAM-e back in, treated for yeast with Diflucan, biotin. Haven't tried anti-virals. We just sent test off to make sure we got the yeast. Last night while discussing this with him at his request he had a major meltdown over it. He has always been able to not stim in school until this and he doesn't understand why he can't now. He said he is doing his best, wish he was born normal etc... broke my heart. Lots of frustration and anger that I have NEVER seen with him, he has always been laid back and such a people pleaser but going through puberty (he's 11) so I don't know if hormones are adding to the situation or if its something else. Not sure what to do for him. It took several months of 40,000mcg folic acid per day [my son was severely deficient], plus carnitine because folic requires carnitine for proper absorption, before my son's letters-in-the-air was gone. mB12 and TMG were also helpful. Vitamin C and lysine [lysine was wonderful here] were also important. Dana
