It's been just over 10 weeks since I started on 1.5mg LDN.

I have Graves Disease and thyroid eye disease.

I had a problem getting labs done as I was waiting for a Free T3

private test kit to arrive it never did so I went ahead and had my

labs done and the irony of it all is the labs here included the FT3

this time around so that's a bonus.the only reason FT3 was included

this time around is the TSH had dropped just below the normal

reference ranges. I usually pay out of pocket with a private lab for

the FT3 but they let me down big time. these labs should have been

done a couple of weeks ago.

Here are my lab results.

22nd April.

FT4 11.7 (7.0-16.0) down from 14.1 10 weeks ago

TSH 0.16 low (0.20-5.50) O.38 last time this is the reason I got the

FT3 done by this lab

FT3 4.2 (3.8-6.0) 3.9 last time with different ranges (3.0-6.2)

ESR- 15 (1-12)up from 14

CRP 9.5 (1-6)down from 12.5

APT 106 (30-100)liver enzyme alkaline phosphatase down from 109

There are some improvements regarding inflammation markers so I am

pleased about that.

FT4 and FT3 are going down not up I take 200 mcg Levothyroxin my GP

was considering reducing. I put him straight to reduce now would just

bring the FT3/4 down even further he his looking at the TSH so plan is

to retest in 4-6 weeks time.

I have also increased my dose of LDN to 3 mg starting today and I am

trying the day time dosing based on Elaine and Dr Zargons theory

as I do have sleep issues, and it isn't helped by taking the LDN at

night. I'm going to give it a go and see how it works for me.

things may work differently for thyroid autoimmune as we tend to Wax

and Wain with symptoms and levels.
