Guest guest
Maybe the info in this book would help: " Breaking The Vicious Cycle " by Elaine Gottschall -- available at _www.scdiet.com_ (http://www.scdiet.com) . Best wishes for total resolution of his problems, Debby In a message dated 3/20/2007 8:32:34 P.M. He lost weight and then height but I don't know if it was the oilve oil. When we tested him a year ago the only oil/fat that he was low in was olive oil. We reintroduced it but it does seem to cause bad stool, especially if we give more than a tiny bit. Lately though he is asking for it a lot. So obviously he is deficient and needing it but I hate what it does to his diapers Yuck. During our first biomed year he did not have this problem and tolerated olive oil just fine. I should also say that we already tried extensively to heal his gut with diets, probiotics and antimicrobials and all of this caused more harm than good but it is too long to explain right now. My son did not tolerate any EFAs, especially Omega 3, until I corrected his mitochondrial issues and a few other things. So obviously he is deficient and needing it In the beginning of biomedical, my son craved things that he did not tolerate. It was only near the end of biomedical that he craved things that his body needed. > should also say that we already tried extensively to heal his gut with > diets, probiotics and antimicrobials and all of this caused more harm > than good My son did not tolerate supplements until about round 50 of ALA chelation. At that point, adding them in caused nice improvements. Dana

Guest guest
My suggestion is: Since everyday we hear news about how Omega 3's; 6's and 9's help a child brain development and improve eye-sight and a host of benefits; 1. There are new " Light " brands of Olive Oil he may tolerate better. 2. Why not try another Oil; such as teaspoon of either " Walnut Oil; Almond Oil; Hazelnut(Filbert) Oil; Pecan Oil; or Mustard Seed Oil (Canola); Salmon Oil(supossed to be the best);Sesame Seed Oil; etc. A. > > A year and a half ago we took our son off olive oil because several > naturopaths told us his diarrhea would not resolve unless we did.
