Forgot to add my sister-in-law lives in the Baltimore area if that

makes a difference.

Also, my nephew has been 'this way' since he was a baby (born 1997)and

is fully vaccinated.

Has had strep twice this winter (back to back) with 2 rounds of

antibiotics. That is the reason behind the probiotics. Still waiting

to hear if the 2nd round of antibiotics does the trick.

I heard that family pet DOGS can be strep harborers. I was told to

swab the dogs and treat them if you have recurrent strep in the

family. True? The family has a dog and sister-in-law is a vet.

My #4 had strep four times. For the first three times, the ped rx

Zithromax. The strep would come back a few weeks later. For the

fourth time, I gave her OLE instead of taking her to the ped. The

strep never came back.
