Guest guest
My daughter (I so need to print out the abbrev. list!) has been taking fish oil for about a month now. It is the only new change recently. This week, she started eating more meat...eggs & one brand of fast food chicken have been about all she eats well. would occasionally eat small bites of beef. (there are the hot dogs she loves/craves that she gets every so often - guaranteed issues there) Well, feels like protein is about all she is eating at the moment, and is eating meat every night, along with her normal eggs. and, also eating more pumpkin seeds too...I have thought she could use more protein/meat & am pleased to see this. Really not sure they are/could be related...maybe it was a texture thing. Several of her sensitivities have improved. i.e..She had a " kiss fest " with me several times this week (and is now her new favorite game), and let me rub her lotion in for more 5 minutes after her bath AND asked for more time rubbing. I was done before she was, both times, and that is definitely a " never happened before. " Tho' she has migraines, and no diag of autism (and I wouldn't put her on the spectrum, from the bits of info I've picked up), it is way apparent that something is going on, and her speech & interest & involvement levels have gone super-speed. and even a noticeable decrease in her " wariness " level, in interactions with anyone except me... I am think'g with the possibility of decreased sensivity, that there is that much less energy devoted to " avoid'g " those things, and (so much) more energy going into just being a kid. She also started jumping on her " red ball " last week. the ones you sit on & hold the handle. That is alot of motion & balance stuff for her to do without going into a migraine (which she didn't - that is too cool). and there is the coordination issue, which had kept her from sitting on it previously (did mainly the lay on it & roll, in short spurts, before last week)...very cool. Just overall improvements noted. I am so liking this. elizabeth
