Guest guest
We're a little confused by the lab's " honor system " . They really just send you the test kits without your having to pay anything up front and then you pay when you send in the samples? Is that right? Dh emailed them to confirm, but not having gotten an answer yet, I thought I'd ask here about any funny little glitches in the system of ordering the urinary porphyrin test kits from this French lab. For instance, on the intro section to the " autism " part of the site, they say that you'll need to send in 10ml of urine for the urinary porphyrin test. Yet when you fill out your personal information to order the test and check off how many tests you want to order, the " porphyrin " section says it's a 2ml test. Did we mess this up and miss the right square to check for tests? Is there a 10ml AND a 2ml test and what's the diff? If not, is the site just misstating information? Any goofy gaffs to watch out for when performing the test and sending it in? I'll probably ask this again in a panic as I try to do the tests with the kids, but we'll see. I always feel like a idiot when I try to order these things because I get so nervous. Thanks in advance for any hand-holding and feedback. <
Guest guest
Ohh, I'm sorry but I have no idea how this porphyrin test works. I'd say send them 10ml anyway, better send too much than too little. Have you gotten the test kit yet? Maybe there are more detailed information in there. I guess that the size of the cup or thingy is a good indicative of how much urine they're expecting. And those international tests usually work like that, they send you the kit for free and when you send the sample, you give the credit card info for them to charge. Hope this helps or something... a > > We're a little confused by the lab's " honor system " .
