Guest guest
Don't know if this fits with what you are saying, but due to a scheduling conflict I ended up taking our little one to a Spanish class when she was about 2 years and not only did she learn Spanish, much better than I (no surprise), but she started speaking more, might just have been a coincidence, but I don't think so. I had to quit going as she learned so much Spanish and was so fluent in it and preferred actually to speak it, that neither my dd or I could keep up with what she was saying. [ ] OT: ESL I was taking a tour last night of a public library which has just been renovated. During this tour, there was an English as a Second Language class going on. There were young people of all backgrounds in this class. That got me thinking, would a child with autism benefit from ESL? Has anyone ever tried this? Just a crazy thought, since not much else is helping with language.
