This is very interesting, because I have long thought that possibly the

people who use drugs and wind up in jail are just trying to self medicate.

They need real health care/rehabilitation not incarceration.

I don't know if this is suggesting that Ritalin causes future drug abuse. I

think it makes a good case for chelation to rid yourself of toxins/heavy

metals so that you can minimize the need for Ritalin or other drugs just

because the " show must go on " . Ritalin is not a cure just a crutch and a

poor one for it rarely makes one fully effective.
