Guest guest
What they want to spray in your house is poison and can be a problem for the whole family. You would need to leave the house for a while or find a more holistic way to kill them. Try looking on the web, maybe this site has some ideas. http://www.planetnatural.com/site/xdpy/sg/Natural%20Pest%20Control > > Please help us. Guest guest
Hi You can get beneficial nematodes in two varieties which kill termites. They are microscopic worms that use the termite as a host and kill it. They are naturally occurring and come in a powder that can be diluted in water and sprayed or poured into trenches or the ground. A great resource for these kinds of problems is this site: www.arbico-organics.com <http://www.arbico-organics.com/> . They are available by phone to explain and suggest various organic measures to deal with pests. I also seem to rememeber that the termites don't like eucalyptus oil, but I think the nematodes are considered the most effective. Good luck. Guest guest
Sara, if you can get at where most of the wood and termites are exposed, sprinkle diatomacious earth all over everything. It cuts them up. It will have to touch them though in order to work. If you don't already have termites, just sprinkle large amounts of the diatomacious earth all around your house touching it. This should help at least without adding anything toxic to your surroundings and will kill other bug pests as well. Pigeon people use it all the time in and around nest boxes and even on the birds for flies and mites etc... Steph
Guest guest
I put a 03 generator in my attic running 24/7 after I saw lots of termites in my two story house. Within a week they disappeared... that was 4 years ago. Way better than fumigating also good for the odors. best! Guest guest
, and others, Is that (Air Zone XT 400) a good air purifier? What do people on this list like? I have an old Living Air Alpine model which I sort of inherited. How do they rate, in the scheme of things? Any time you try to research anything about ozone, you run into so much nay-saying... then I just give up! I wonder why and how the termites returned so quickly? Mysterious.
