Guest guest
Our holistic dentist consulted with our DAN! regarding antibiotics for my son. Our DAN! said to use injectible Rocephrin and not oral antibiotics. The dentist talked to our local ped (and he is even DAN! friendly) who said that Rocephrin won't work for dental infections. And he said that if he gave it, he would inject twice daily for 14 days!!!! That would be traumatic.. I am quite sure that 1 injection of Rocephrin is equal to a 7-10 day course of oral antibiotics. Last summer, my son had an infected injury - one shot of Rocephrin cleared it up. Does anyone know of documentation showing that Rocephrin is effective for dental infections? Is there another injectible alternative that has documentation for being used for dental infections? If we can't get an injectible, would a concurrent 14 day course of Sporanox counteract our yeast? Thanks. > > > > > > > > My son has a terrible tooth infection that the holistic dentist > > > says is > > > > becoming systemic. I agree, as I have been observing evidence > of > > > > that.
