Guest guest
You said he is on all the supps. The high dose suppositories were dangerous. And could be part of the problem. No chelator should be dosed like this. Is he still on yeast protocol? If so what protocol, how often etc. It is possible that it's too soon to use ALA for him. or that the dose needs to be a heck of a lot lower. What dose? Is it given every three hours? Try a lower dose at 2 hours. Or stop altogether and do more dmsa rounds with Andy's protocol. Copper would not cause these problems. Did he have high copper on hair testing? Is he on molybdenum and zinc? This would help balance copper. The improper dmsa chelation done previously can have implications that are not always apparent immediately. What homeopathics stuff are you using? We needs all the details of everything he is on and how much etc, to pinpoint a suspected problem. At this time I would hold back the ALA until it's figured out and continue using proper protocol for the dmsa. Many people need a lot of rounds on dmsa alone before they can do ala. > > Hi All, > > I am very puzzled by what is going on with my son. Guest guest
Kavitha, My comments are interspersed. > I am very puzzled by what is going on with my son. Do you mean 1/3 mg of each ALA and DMSA? This would be too much for my son, and he has done 60 rounds of chelation. > He has started this verbal and visual stim which is nonstop after i > added ALA. After lot of eliminations of what could be going on , i > think it started when i started ALA. I have done yeast protocol > ranging from mild to severe and i dont think its yeast. I am very scared now. > I just dont know what am missing. I have all supplements in place > according to Andy list , homeopathic drainage , yeast protocol , > liver support , antioxidants, diet etc. I would consider stopping the ALA and continuing with the DMSA. Or as you suggested, another option might be to stop chelation for a few weeks and try to deal with any yeast there may be and getting minerals back to optimal levels. See if discontinuing the DMSA/ALA does anything good. I would also consider that it may have nothing to do with the chelation. In my son's case, I overlooked some of his problems because I was kind of attributing them to the stall phase of chelation. Sometimes things just happen at the same time by coincidence. In my son's case, it was adrenal fatigue that was causing him to stim more. I hope you find your answers soon. Anita
Guest guest
Hi, The DMSA supps were stopped 5 months back. He was fine after that with just DMSA using AC protocol for about 8 rounds. I think only after ALA am seeing the issues. He is on a rotation yeast protocol . I give a mild protocol everyday and a intense one during and after chelation. I rotate GSE, SF722, caprylic Acid and i also have lots of probiotics in place. He is on 12mg of ALA and 12 mg of DMSA every 3 hours during day and 4 at night. I am thinking of stopping ALA for now and trying later. He weighs about 33 lbs. Is it too much ? I started at 7mg and ramped up. He is on molybdenum and zinc and his recent blood work confirmed that all the mineral levels are in green . His calcium was in 16th percentile a little low. Zinc was good 45th percentile. I use Homeopathic drainage for Kidney and liver drainage. This is from a very good holistic pediatrician i go to (where i do bioset) and it has helped him a lot with chelation . I think i will stop ALA for now . Anita, to answer your question on how he is in home, he is much better, good eye contact but still stims in not engaged. In school he stims all the time since he doesnt care to be engaged. I think the stim happens whenever he has nothing to do (which is most of the time ..lol) Thanks, Kavitha > > > > Hi All, > > > > I am very puzzled by what is going on with my son. I rotate GSE, SF722, > caprylic Acid and i also have lots of probiotics in place. You may want to reconsider rotating antifungals. Andy has spoken about how rotating them frequently is a good way to allow the yeast to build up resistance. > > He is on 12mg of ALA and 12 mg of DMSA every 3 hours during day and 4 > at night. I chelate myself, and after about 8 rounds I realized that I was feeling hit pretty hard by my dose, which was only 25 mg of ALA. I also wasn't doing a very good job with my supplements too, which is stupid, but to put things in perspective, I weigh almost 5 times as much as your son and am taking approximately the same amount of chelator, and I have a hard time believing I am as toxic as our kids. If our kids can't speak, it is hard to say how they would communicate feeling lousy, but I would think stimming would be one of them. > Anita, to answer your question on how he is in home, he is much > better, good eye contact but still stims in not engaged. Well, this may be a clue that the stimming is a way of dealing with stress, in which case reducing the stress of chelation by reducing the dose and/or taking a break for a bit seems like a good strategy. What products and doses were you using for your " severe yeast protocol " ? For example, there was a time during ALA chelation when I had to give my son more than 50 drops of GSE per day, just to keep the yeast somewhat under control. Guest guest
Dana, I use Candidase enzyme in somewhat empty stomach followed by the yeast-aid either GSE or MCT oil(caprylic) or SF722 (castor bean oil) atleast 2x a day . When i mean agressive, i use maybe 5 drops of GSE per dosage, 2 tabs of sf 722, 11/2 spoons of MCT oil which is something like 4-5 gms of caprylic acid per dose (one of them depending on the agent am rotating) . Usually my son's yeasty symptoms are gas, giggly-silly , red ring around anus and night waking. None of this has happenend in a while which is why i thought no yeast . I guess i have to re-visit my protocol or atleast my term " severe protocol " ...lol . The stool test also came out negative (for whatever its worth.. am sick of that test not showing up anything) As of now, am going to give him a break and start yeast protocol / gut healing and then re-ramp again. Do you think its virus stirred up coz of chelation causing the visual stims.. i read that visual stims are mostly virus-related ? Thanks, Kavitha > > I saw him in school today and couldnt help crying. For my son, visuals were caused by several things, primarily viruses, yeast, and B vitamin deficiency.
