Guest guest
I have an optical store, In a professional house on a main road owned by a dentist. We had an on going leak for about a year, which he is finally fixing after my wife and my self became sick from breathing in the mold. Not sure which route to go. At present i have had and environmental company do air and sample testing and they turned up elevated levels of stachybotrys and bacillus. I called osha before the tests, they told me they don,t do tests or take an legal action, same thing when i called the board of health and environmental protection agency. I would appreciate any help in the right direction
Guest guest
Osha does nothing, CDC does nothing, Board of Health does nothing. All three are only window dressing. Try NIOSH. They are the only ones who did anything and they need 2 or more complaints be fore they will send anyone out. Get a doctors report if you can on what ever illiness you have from that building. If mold is found and cannot be cleaned up get an attorney. By law you are entitled to clean air to breathe. An attorney will not cost you anything. I have two, one for workers comp and the other is civil. Both are paid ...IF...I win. The longer you wait the sicker you will become and your energy level will not allow you to be strong enough to fight your battle. Don't wait. If the building is new you can also go after the contractor for building a shoddy con struction. Go to your computer and pull up this web site...http://www.themoldsource.com. It should help you.
