While chelating with ALA, does it tend to make the child more hyper and aggressive? Thanks! Guest guest Posted September 21, 2007 Report Share Posted September 21, 2007 Lucy, Any chelator can cause increased symptoms when used improperly (in too high a dose, or with too long an interval between doses). When used properly, chelators cause minimal symptoms and the process should be comfortable. What dose and timing are you using for DMSA? Are you seeing any improvements with DMSA?
