Guest guest
I want to thank you all so much for giving me directions to persue in trying to clear up my medical problems of the past 12 years. I have made a list of all of your suggestions and made an appointment with a naturopath for this Wednesday to discuss them. I've also had some questions posted to me (thanks Alison) and I want to answer them now as it may help clarify some of the pieces to the puzzle. I appreciate the time and thought you guys are willing to give to my troubles!!!! It is so hard for me to tend to myself first. I tried that when my ovaries first failed and my health started deteriorating, but I couldn't figure out my problem. Then I decided Eleanor couldn't wait any further for my attention so I spent a few years focusing on her. But now my health demands my attention again so that I can get back to her. What a frustrating cycle. Again MANY THANKS!!! Comments intersperced. > QUESTION: Do you also react badly to some fragrances, fumes? MCS multiple > chemical sensitivites. That indicates CBS problems. ANSWER: I don't wear fragrances so that's sort of an unknown. I have noticed I don't like to be around strong fumes but who does? Sorry, I know that answer doesn't help much. QUESTION: > Slow clearance could be hypercoagulation, or mitochodria > dysfunction. The cells that make energy get hurt by any inflammation. ANSWER: I THINK I've already been checked for hypercoagulation. I took a test where they actually cut you and then see how long it takes to clot and the result was normal. I do think I've suffered with a lot of inflammation though as I've had fibromyalgia off and on the past 12 years. QUESTION: > Do you have adverse reactions to meds sometimes? If so and you > have CBS issues, then you must stay away from sulfur supplements, foods, soaps, > etc. > Like do you have trouble eating onions? ANSWER: No problem with onions but I do have problems taking meds. A prime example is this hormone replacement problem. Also, I took thyroid suppliments once for a while and had similiar side effects as when taking HRT and that is breathing problems upon exhersion to the point of interfearing with life. When I finally thought it might be the meds I went off and my breathing returned to normal. But breathing problems returned even off the meds after 2 months. I've found I often have breathing problems in relation to hormonal balance. (at least that is my guess....odd, I know). They used to test my heart for these problems. I didn't let them do anything invasive but the non-invasive ones turned out fine. Was also check for pulmonary hypertension but it too was negative. ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
