Guest guest
My son recently took oral Amoxicillan for five days. He had the following negative side effects: (1) constipation so great that even a daily enema was minimally productive. (2) " brain pain " which is what he says when the middle, top of his head hurts. At times of " brain pain " , he was very mean and aggressive - having behaviors we have never seen. One day, he told me taht his brain hurt the entire day. For him, " brain pain " always accompanies seizures, so I think there was a seizure aspect here. (3) anger and aggression, as mentioned above. Are these symptoms related to (a) yeast or ( a problem with the antibiotic itself? My son does not tolerate Flagyl, so I am starting to think it may be the antibiotic itself. On his final day of antibiotics, my son had a few injections of ozone (no lectures about this, please). Following the ozone injections, my son lost all of his above symptoms. It has been a couple days, and the symptoms have not returned. Thanks.
