Flips and sleeps on tummy

Last week Ian has figured out how to flip from his back to his

tummy. He now sleeps on his stomach and seems more comfortable.

I've noticed that his helmet really presses up against the side where

he lies, so much so it leaves red impressions on his face for

awhile. Is this ok? Has anyone else run into this situation? I

can't help but wonder if faster correction in the helmet has anything

to do with the position he sleeps in (now that he's banded as opposed

to before). Thanks in advance for listening.

Yes that happens to my son every night. He always only slept flat on his

back but since we have the helmet he will only sleep on his left side! The

sideburn mark is there almost every morning and it does seem to me his

forehead is going down faster on this side. I guess if they are going to

sleep on it all night in the same position they are going to have red marks.

( I wish he would change sides occasionally!) It does bother me too

though.-
